DAYCARE
Mountaineer Pet Care Center's Resort offers safe, quality daycare options for both cats and dogs.

DOGS
Dogs are housed in large and comfortable indoor/outdoor runs. They are given approximately 10 playtimes per day, that last at least 15 minutes per playtime. The playtimes take place in the many securely fenced play yards at Mountaineer Pet Care. They allow for interaction with the resort staff, and limited interaction (through fencing only) with other visitors to the resort. Your dogs and puppies return home safe, happy and tired.
CATS
Cats are housed in multi-roomed cat condos. They are given at least 6 playtimes per day of varying time lengths, depending upon the interest of the cat. Most days, cats spend most of their day playing in the main play area, or lounging on the securely screened cat porch. The resort staff relaxes in the cattery on breaks, allowing for consistent interaction between staff and visiting kitties.
MIXED PLAY
Mountaineer Pet Care Center believes that safe play among unknown and/or unfamiliar pets may only be accomplished through the close supervision of the individuals familiar with the temperment and behavior of the pets at play. Due to these safety concerns, Mountaineer Pet Care Center does not allow group interaction with other customer's pets. Only same family pets are permitted unsupervised playtimes while at the Resort. Other pets play directly with staff members. They do, however, enjoy interaction safely with other pets through the enclosure barriers. (Upon request, and with prior approval, arrangements may be made for your pet to play with staff members' private pets, when present at the resort.)
